GURUVAYUR: The commemoration of Gajarajan Guruvayur Kesavan will be held on Monday, the Dasami day. The jumbos of Guruvayur Devaswom led by Gajaratnam Guruvayur Padmanabhan will pay floral tributes to the statue of Guruvayur Kesavan at the Sreevalsam compound.
The Dasami Vilakku by the Sree Guruvayurappan Sankeerthana Trust will be held on Monday.
Chembai Sangeetholsavam: The teens and tiny tots stole the show at the music concert held as part of the Chembai festival on Saturday.
Around 50 students participated in the music festival. The Pancharatna Keerthanalapanam will be held at the Chembai Sangeetholsavam from 8.30 am on Monday.
Renowned carnatic musicians Pala C K Ramachandran, Chembai Sreenivasan, Mannoor Rajakumaranunni and Omanakutty will lead the alapanam.
The temple witnessed heavy rush of devotees and Sabarimala pilgrims on Sunday.
The three-day-long photo exhibition on Guruvayur temple and its history will be held at the Municipal Town Hall premises from Monday morning.
The photo exhibition is jointly being organised by the Guruvayur Press Club, Devaswom official photographers Bhavana and Saritha studios and the All-Kerala Photographers Association.
