KOLLAM: Governor R.S. Gavai has said that the challenges posed by globalisation process should be faced by making use of the new possibilities created by the science and technological revolution.
Inaugurating the centenary celebrations of the Chavara Govt HSS on Friday, the Governor said that the education which ignored human values would be incomplete.
Presiding over the function, Minister N.K. Premachandran said that a new building for the school would be constructed as a monument of the centenary celebrations.
Poet O.N.V. Kurup delivered the key note address and MPs Thennala Balakrishna Pillai and P.Rajendran offered felicitations.
O.N.V. Kurup, a former student of the school, was honoured at the function.
