GURUVAYUR: The Dasami vilakku will be held at the Sree Krishna Temple here on Friday.
The pancharatna keerthanalapanam of the Chembai sangeetholsavam will be held at 9.30 am.
Around 100 musicians will take part in the concert. All India Radio will relay the programme live and various channels, including Doordarsan will live telecast the programme.
The sanctum sanctorum of the temple will be opened for the nirmalyam at 3 am on Friday and it will remain open till 9 am on Sunday. The 34th death anniversary of tusker Gajarajan Guruvayur Kesavan will be observed by Guruvayur Devaswom on Dasami Day on Friday.
Around 40 jumbos of the devaswom will take part in the ceremonial procession from the Thiruvenkitachalapathy temple to the statue of Guruvayur Kesavan on the Sreevalsam compound in south nada.
Devaswom chairman Thottathil Raveendran, managing committee members and senior officials of devaswom will also pay tributes to Kesavan.
