

ALAPPUZHA: Have you ever seen an enchanter staging a play? If no, Ammu, a teenaged wizard hailing from Muthukulam in Alappuzha who has staged many wonders with her magic spell across the State, is beckoning you.
Ammu, a 17-year-old bubbly magician, is all set to present a play and poems written by Kavalam Narayana Panicker on stage through her magical formula. Ammu will stage Kavalam’s drama ‘Kunji Chirakukal’ and his poems ‘Ganapathithaalam’ and ‘Choottupadayani’ through her magical performance named ‘Manthrapakshi’.
Kavalam Narayana Panicker will inaugurate ‘Manthrapakshi’ at 5.30 p.m. on September 30 at KPAC, Kayamkulam.
KPAC secretary A Shajahan will preside over the function.
CK Sadasivan MLA, M Murali MLA, S Radhakrishnan (All India Radio), P Somaseghara Pillai, Cheravalli Sasi, Babykuttan, Artist Sujathan, A P Joy, Ramapuram Radhakrishnan and R Jayaprakash will speak at the function.

Ammu’s father Rajasekharan has been giving full support to this young magician since her childhood. Ammu, a graduate student at TKMM College, Nangiarkulangara, is the only child of writer Rajasekharan Muthukulam and Sreelatha.
Ammu who entered the world of magic at the age of three is an expert in fire escape, visual vanishing, cartoon magic, photgraphic magic, gandhi jalam, akshara jalam, driving vehicle blindfolded and railway track escape.
