TRIPUNITHURA: The Government Boys High School, Tripunithura, has achieved 100 percent victory in the SSLC examinations for the third consecutive year, with all the 23 students passing the examinations held in March.

“This victory is certainly the result of the joint effort made by the teachers and organisations like the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) which extended support to the students, headmistress Sobhana said.” “We had achieved our first 100 percent victory in the result published in 2008. Last year also we recorded total success, with all the 13 students passing the SSLC examination.

In the current academic year, there are 63 students in standard IX, and their performance graph is very encouraging.

We are planning to start an English medium batch from the next academic year, which will definitely result in an increase in new admissions,” she said.

So, the school authorities are taking all the steps to arrange the necessary infrastructure facilities for the newcomers.

“We have been getting good support from the alumni of the school, with many of them offering financial support for the education of students coming from poor families and by extending support for the improvement of the infrastructure facilities,” the headmistress said.

The Government Girls’ High School here achieved 94 percent success in the SSLC examination, while over 50 percent of the students passed at the Government Sanskrit School and the Government Palace Girls’ High School, in the SSLC examination.
