THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: ‘Satyameva Jayathey’ scripted in the Government symbol will now be positioned just below the Lion Capital.

The State Government has issued an order making this change in the Government symbol. All these years the wordings were used at the bottom of the symbol in Devanagiri Script.

However, the Assembly Committee had pointed out the fact that ‘Satyameva Jayathey’ was being used just below the Lion Capital by the Government of India and hence the State Government should adopt the same method.

Apart from this, the Committee also recommended to increase the size of the fonts used for Government of Kerala written both in Malayalam and English.
