With complaints about the just-concluded ‘Viswa Malayala Mahotsavam’ piling up, the UDF Govt has ordered an ‘autopsy’ to find out what went wrong.

Cultural Affairs Minister K C Joseph has instructed  Principal Secretary, Cultural Affairs, to report on ‘certain lapses’ in the conduct of the festival and the negative stand taken by some of the festival administrative committee members.

The three-day festival, intended to be a celebration of the Malayalam language and the first of its kind, had attracted a fair bit of controversy even before it got off the launch pad.
