Congress leader K Muraleedharan, son of former Kerala Chief Minister K Karunakaran, reiterated his stand that he would go to any extent to get his father’s name cleared in the ISRO espionage case and threatened to resort to legal course to prove the ‘’innocence’’ of his father.

Muraleedharan told reporters that he is yet to get a reply from Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to his plea seeking action against the three police officers who investigated the infamous ISRO spy case.  ‘’Either the State Government should accept my request or reject it. But some action has to be taken,’’ he said. ‘’I am yet to get a reply from Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. If the government is not willing to take action based on the CBI report then I will be forced to take legal measures as my father was haunted by the case in which he did not have any role,’’ he added.

He stuck to his earlier allegation that there was a political conspiracy hatched within the Congress which had the full support of then Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao.
