Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Mullappally Ramachandran said on Tuesday that KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala will join in the state Cabinet.
He was speaking after inaugurating the distribution of financial assistance to temples under the Guruvayur Devaswom at a function held in Thrissur.
“It is for the Congress high command to decide which portfolio should be allotted to Ramesh Chennithala,” Mullappally Ramachandransaid. He added that at present, there is no situation for a leadership change in the state.
“The majority of the Congress workers also like to see Ramesh Chennithala as a minister and the present crisis in the party would be settled soon,” he said.
