Memorandums of MLAs to get due attention

The government will see to it that the memorandums given by MLAs  on people’s issues will get an action taken report within 15 days, on the lines of a mechanism in vogue in Parliament for its members.

‘’The government will issue strict orders in this regard,’’ said Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, responding to the complaints by the MLAs cutting across political affiliations through a first question on the first day of the Assembly monsoon session’s Question Hour on Monday. The suggestion for a state-level mechanism was put forth by Benny Behanan (Congress).  ENS
