KOLLAM: Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi, one of the renowned hospitals in the country, has signed up with Amrita Technologies to implement and deploy the latter’s state-of-the-art hospital management software to power clinical and back-office functions across the hospital.
Amrita’s health software, Amrita Healthcare Informatics Suite (Amrita HIS), will provide the next-generation healthcare IT solutions to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, stated a press release on Monday.
Amrita Technologies, one of the few CCHIT certified vendors in the world, is a leading company in healthcare informatics. It has helped many hospitals and networks become more patient centric, provide better quality of care and at the same time optimise operations.
Amrita’s completely web-based HIS, which is now being used by major super specialty hospitals, stores over 5 million patient Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) per year and processes thousands of transactions daily.
Amrita’s software suite, built with EMR as its foundation, provides an integrated as well as modular solution across both clinical and back-office functions.
Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Board of Management chairman Dr D S Rana talked about the partnership: “We chose Amrita’s solution from among several other vendors given the depth of their solution and the integrity of the Amrita team. We are confident that our hospital team and Amrita’s technical team will work together to make this project a great success.”
Amrita Technologies CEO Pradeep Achan commented on Amrita’s selection:
“Amrita Technologies has tremendous experience implementing HIS at large-scale hospitals and we are absolutely thrilled that Sir Ganga Ram Hospital has shown confidence in us to partner with them on upgrading their HIS solution. It is indeed gratifying and an honour to be selected from among all the major healthcare automation solutions in the country.”
Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, established in 1921, is a 675-bed multi-speciality state-of-the-art hospital and has been providing high quality healthcare to the population of Delhi and surrounding states since its inception.
