THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Rakesh Menon, 47, son of former DGP Jayaram Padikkal, was found dead at his rented house at Panchajanyam lane at Illippode near Poojappura on Monday. According to Poojapura police, he was suffering from several diseases and is suspected to have died from natural causes. Police said that Rakesh was staying alone. On Monday morning the caretaker who was assigned to assist him, found Rakesh lying on the floor. Though he was rushed to the hospital in a 108 ambulance, he was pronounced brought dead.
The body is kept at a mortuary in a city private hospital after postmortem.
