Vellappally to Move Against Sudheeran, Jiji Thomson for Fuelling Communal Hatred

ALAPPUZHA: SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellapally has said that he will file a suit against KPCC president V M Sudheeran and Chief Secretary Jiji Thomson for stoking communal hatred. Vellappally made these remarks while inaugurating a reception meeting accorded to the Samathwa Munnetta Yathra at Punnapra here on Tuesday.

Sudheeran acted according to the direction of the Thrissur Bishop and denied seats to C N Balakrishnan and Therambil Radhakrishnan, and Jiji publicly declared in favour of evangelism, Vellappally said, and added that both have tried to generate hatred among communities and the police should be ready to register a case against them.Slamming Sudheeran and T N Prathapan MLA, Vellapally said, “I have not accepted any money from the in-laws of Sudheeran and Prathapan to register a case against me.  Sudheeran is an international fraud.”He accused the UDF government of double standards even while distributing relief.

“No criteria is being followed when it distribution of aid to accident victims, and the government is allotting relief after considering communal affiliations. The government should formulate some parameter for the distribution of relief. When we speak about these discriminations, it becomes a controversy. No relief was given to the victim who was hit by Minister Munner’s car,” Vellappally said.

“When a Mukri gets a pension of Rs4,000, a coir worker gets pension of Rs250 per month. When students of minority communities gets financial assistance of Rs1,000, the children from majority communities should also get the same,” he said.People of minority communities have grabbed acres of land in many districts. But the UDF and LDF are supporting the land grabbers, because they are the helpers of both the fronts.

That excess lands should be confiscated and distributed to the landless.  The LDF and UDF are two sides of the same coin, Vellapally said.
