THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government on Friday issued an order regarding the new postings of six assistant superintendents of police (ASP) of IPS cadre in the state. The officers and their new posting locations are:
• Karuppasamy- Vaikom
• Merin Joseph - Irinjalakkuda
• Jaidev G - Mananthavady
• Karthikeyan Gokulachandran- Punalur
• G Poonguzhali- Palakkad
• R Aditya-Attingal
Karuppasamy, who hails from Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu, is an electronics engineering graduate and belongs to 2013 IPS cadre. Merin Joseph, a native of Ranni in Pathanamthitta, is a 2013 IPS cadre officer having post graduation in History. She has served as the ASP of Munnar.
The remaining four officers have received fresh postings in the state. Jaidev G, a native of Karikkode, Kollam, is a mechanical engineering graduate and a 2013 IPS cadre officer.
A 2014 IPS cadre officer, Karthikeyan Gokulachandran of Bengaluru, is a BDS graduate. G Poonguzhali of Karur, Tamil Nadu, is an electronics engineering graduate and a 2014 IPS cadre officer.
R Aditya of Chennai, who belongs to 2014 IPS cadre, is a computer science graduate.
