Nisham’s siblings file plaint

THRISSUR: The complaint given to Rural SP R Nishanthini by the siblings of Mohammad Nisham has revealed that the beedi tycoon has been running his business from the jail. The complaint was given by Nisham’s brother Abdul Rasaq A A.

Abdul Rasaq and Nisham are the partners in the Kings Beedi Company based at Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu. Rasaq alleged in the complaint that Nisham was controlling the employees of the company through mobile phone from the jail. “Nisham has been demanding to set aside the company finances for   murder case trial,” he said in the complaint. Rasaq said Nisham had threatened him while he visited Nisham in jail. “Nisham threatened that if I did not set aside money for the case, he will chop off my hands and legs. He said he had acquaintance with the jail inmates, who are serving jail in RMP leader Chandrasekharan murder case. He also threatened over phone to kill me,” Rasaq said. Another brother Abdul Nissar A A was also with   Rasaq when he visited Nisham in jail.  

“Nisham is also using money to bribe jail employees and is living a luxurious life,” Rasaq stated in the complaint. Rasaq had handed over the recordings of phone conversation to the police.
