Kerala woman kills youth, cuts body into 10 pieces in Yemen

PALAKKAD: The Yemen police is on the lookout for a woman who reportedly killed a Yemeni youth, working in her clinic and cutting him into 10 pieces.

The four-day old corpse of Tomy Thomas, stuffed in sacks, was recovered from a water tank in Al Deydh, Yemen behind the house were Nimisha Priya was staying. It was only after the locals' complained of foul smell emanating from the tank and a subsequent search, that body parts were found.

There is some confusion over the identity of the deceased. One report said that Nimisha Priya, a native of Thekkinchira, 4 km from Kollengode in Palakkad district, had allegedly cut her husband, Tomy Thomas, a Yemeni youth, into pieces. Another report said that Tomy Thomas was an employee in the clinic run by Nimisha Priya in Al Deydh in Yemen. The latter report said that Nimisha's husband and children were staying in Kollengode.

The police were also yet to confirm whether Nimisha Priya was working as a nurse in a hospital in Al Deydh in Yemen or ran her own clinic.

Palakkad superintendent of police Pratheesh Kumar told Express that there was no formal communication about the murder by the Yemen authorities to the Kerala police. He said that they were yet to begin any search to locate the woman.
