The BJP president is on a busy schedule at the state capital with a series of meetings lined up and with the delay the meetings may be congested as he has to return back to New Delhi by Wednesday morning. BJP National General Secretary in charge of Kerala Muraleedhar Rao is also with Amit Shah. He was given a rousing reception by the BJP Thiruvananthapuram district committee led by party district president S Suresh.

Communists should be uprooted

BJP President Amit Shah said that Communists should be totally uprooted from the state just like what was done in Tripura. Then only the BJP workers' sacrifice will be fructified. He was addressing the party leaders who are in charge of the booths under the six parliament seats in southern districts. He said that the murders conducted by the Communists were not ideological murders but cruelty sponsored by the government and the Chief Minister has to answer for that. BJP has responded to these cruelties in Kerala and Delhi through democratic means like protest marches.

BJP believes not in violence but in development, Amit Shah said and added that Modi government is giving all support to Kerala government for development only. However owing to political reasons these support are not properly utilised, Shah said.

AIIMS and Kanjikode rail factory which were sanctioned much earlier have not become a reality owing to the failures of the state governments which has ruled the state. He also said that the highway development is also getting delayed owing to the same reason.

He said that the the UPA government has conducted a massive scam of twelve lakh crores and after four years of BJP in power there is no single episode of corruption, Amit Shah said. He further added that the overwhelming reception which the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is receiving from global capitals is for the 130 crore Indians.

BJP is a political party which is based on the strength of its workers and not on the basking glory of the leaders, Shah said. He also said that the party which has started with ten people has now a strength of eleven crore and has become the largest political party in the world mainly owing to the strength of the workers. He said that BJP workers with their organisational strength can uproot the LDF and UDF which are ruling the state in a regular manner.
