BHUBANESWAR: In A major bureaucratic reshuffle today, the State Government transferred 11 district collectors.
Keonjhar Collector Saswat Mishra has been transferred and posted as Managing Director of Orissa Mining Corporation (OMC), the post has been lying vacant for a couple of months.
Balasore Collector Vishal Dev has been posted as Commissioner, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), in place of Aparajita Sarangi.
Aparajita has been appointed Director, Special Projects and ex-officio Additional Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department.
Secretary, State Election Commission, Fakir Charan Satpathy has been transferred and posted as Balasore district Collector.
Nabarangpur Collector Gyanaranjan Dash has been shifted to Jagatsinghpur in place of Pramod Kumar Meherda.
Meherda has been posted as Mayurbhanj Collector in place of SK Vashishth who will take charge as Managing Director of the Orissa State Civil Supplies Corporation (OSCSC).
Jharsuguda Collector Debjani Chakrabarti has been transferred and posted as Director, Fisheries. The incumbent managing director of OSCSC Dhananjay Das has been posted as Jharsuguda Collector. Director of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Bishnupada Sethi is in additional charge of Fisheries Directorate.
Gajapati Collector DV Swami has been posted as Angul Collector in place of SN Girish who will take charge as Dhenkanal Collector.
The Managing Director of Aska Cooperative Sugar Factory, Prakash Chandra Das, has been posted as Gajapati Collector.
The incumbent Dhenkanal Collector Mrinalini Darsawal has been posted as joint secretary in the department of Urban Development.
Bhadrak Collector Hrushikesh Tripathy has been posted as Keonjhar Collector. He will be replaced by Krushna Chandra Patra, Additional Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department.
Koraput Collector Bichitrananda Das has been replaced by Gadadhar Parida, Joint Secretary, School and Mass Education Department. Parida was shifted from Koraput before the recent general election by the order of the Election Commission.
Steel and Mines Secretary A.M.R. Dalwai will continue as chairman of Orissa Mining Corporation while Industries Secretary Sourabh Garg will be in additional charge as IPICOL chairman. Industries Director Hemanta Sharma has also been appointed as IPICOL Managing Director.
