SAMBALPUR: An unidentified man, aged about 65 years, reportedly died of sunstroke at Padiabahal under Sambalpur Sadar police limits Sunday.
Locals said the man was walking down the road and looked tired. No sooner he stopped to take rest under a tree along NH-6, he fell down and died before they could get him medical attention. An unnatural death case has been registered.
Meanwhile, three persons were admitted to Sambalpur Government Hospital yesterday after suffering from sunstroke. They have been identified as Bhagirathi Mallick (37) of Kabrapali village in Jujomura block, Girichandra Jaipuria (15) of Sakarma near Sambalpur town and Ramani Ranjan Sahu (50) of Amlipali village in Dhankauda block of the district.
