SAMBALPUR: The Sital Sasthi celebrations concluded here this afternoon with the return of Lord Shiva and Parvati to the temples. The homecoming procession of the divine couple was witnessed by lakhs of devotees from across the State and neighbouring states as well.
The procession had begun last night. Around 4,000 artistes were invited to perform at the carnival that was organised by Sital Sasthi jatra committees of Nandapada, Jharuapada and Mudipada.
