BARGARH: With Kansa conspiring to wipe out Lord Krishna after inviting him to Dhanu Yatra, the scene at Mathura revolved around the journey of Akrura to Gopapur to fetch Krishna.

Seated on a chariot mounted over an autorickshaw, Akrura leaves for Gopapur while King Kansa tours around his kingdom.

He also delivers justice and penalises people at the Raj Durbar while enjoying cultural fete at the Ranga Mahal.

On reaching Gopapur, Akrura comes across the impression of the feet of Lord Krishna on the banks of river Yamuna and offers worship. Sounds of cymbals and traditional drums filled the air as people join Akrura in paying their obeisance to Lord Krishna and his supernatural powers.

Later, he meets Lord Krishna and Balaram at Gopapur and extends them the invitation to participate in the Dhanu Yatra.

Meanwhile the dust in the air has been making people breathless. Although this has been a regular complain, the civic body is yet to take action to control dust pollution.
