BHUBANESWAR: Takshila School, armed with the new age learning system E-DAC, is ready with its first campus in the City.
Announcing the launch of the school, Chairman of Sanskriti Foundation Tutul Das said, Takshila would usher in world class quality to school education in the City. Academic excellence, exceptional pedagogue as well as tech-enabled atmosphere will nurture the learners in an environmentally sensitive campus in the City.
Takshila has a chain of schools in the country, while E-DAC is a pioneering teaching and learning methodology devised by Educomp Solutions Ltd. Launch of the school marked unveiling of E-DAC that Takshila implements exclusively for its schools.
Director of R&D of Educomp Dr Bindu Rana said Takshila can not be described just as a school because the E-DAC ensures effective learning among students because it is based on child psychology and well-known principles of learning and pedagogy.”The teaching and learning methodologies draw from the best of the west and Indian principles,” she said.
Besides, Takshila also uses Smart School approach under which technology is used as a learning tool, both for students and the teachers. Digital content library with lesson-specific 2D and 3D modules, e-books are unique with the school, Rana informed.
Besides the labs, library, sports and medical facilities, Parent Connect is going to be a key element since the school also focusses on the role of the parents.
Takshila School which will have its campus in Nayapalli would commence from June. Currently, classes from pre-nursery to Standard V are open while the senior wing is expected within next two years.
