BURLA: The three-day fourth Burla Utsav was inaugurated here today by former vice-chancellor of Utkal University of Culture Sadhu Charan Panda. The inaugural day saw troupes from Gujarat perform Siddhi Dhamal and Adivasi Nrutya while Badhaie and Matki dances were performed by artistes from Madhya Pradesh. Besides, artistes from Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand performed Pandwani and Chhau Nrutya respectively.
Earlier a cultural procession was taken out across the town.
