BHUBANESWAR: Anubhav‘s upcoming film Mental
Coinciding with the auspicious Rath yatra, the mahurat of Vishnupriyaa Art & Graphics’ upcoming film Mental was held at the Gadagadia Temple, Cuttack. The movie will have comedy and action. Scheduled to release during Durga Puja, the film will feature Anubhav Mohanty and Barsha Priyadarsini in the lead. Produced by Anuprash Mohanty, it will be directed by Dillip Panda who is known for action flicks like ‘Tu thile Mora dara Kahaku’, ‘Dharma’, ‘Hari om Hari’, ‘Criminal’ and ‘Hero’. Prem Anand will be composing music for the film.
Lekhu LekhU Lekhideli
Sarthak Films’ 11th production titled ‘Lekhu Lekhu Lekhideli’ is also scheduled for Dussehra release. Babushan and Jhilik will be seen together in the movie being directed by Susant Mani. Earlier, the trio had worked in another film ‘Akhire Akhire’ together. While Sidharth has penned the story, like other films of Sarthak, Bikas Das will compose the music.
Pagalu,another experiment
Taking ahead the experimentation on the love themes of films, director duo Avisek-Jaganath are making a film ‘Pagalu’ with Aparajita and Mihir Das in the lead role. Made under the banner of Ananya Entertainment and produced by Jaganath Patajoshi Mohapatra, music for the film will be composed by Avijit Mazumdar. The film scheduled to go on the floor in August will have Rajat Ava and Manish Behl in supporting roles.
2014-Fear of the Year,set for release
Under Arra Movie banner, 2014-Fear of the Year, a horror movie, will be hitting theatres in the second week of July. This horror film is being made bilingually in Odia and Telugu. Produced by Pradeep Kumar Arra, the story, screenplay and direction are by Tapas Kumar Jena and Pradeep Kumar Dash. Music has been composed by Shyam Prasanna while choreography is by Keshab.The film stars Sambit, Dushmanta, KK, Rakesh, Mausumi, Eli and Deepika.
Babushan, Riya in Bhojpuri film
Under the banner of Vijay Laxmi International, Bhojpuri film ‘Ghayal Yoddha’ is scheduled to release this month. The film, produced by Sunil Kumar, revolves around a woman who, trains his son to take revenge from the villain who harms her family. After achieving success in films like ‘Cooli’, ‘Chacha Bhatija’ and last year’s hit film ‘Damini’, Sunil Kumar is introducing Odia actors Babushan and Riya in this movie. The film also stars Aparajita and Mihir Das.
