BHUBANESWAR: A CBI team on Sunday landed in the city with Subrat Sahu alias Kalia, the accused in the MMS scandal and currently under a seven-day police remand.

The CBI sleuths raided a residential plot in Bhimtangi under Airfield police limits where the video featuring Kalia and a young woman was reportedly shot.

A real-estate agent-cum-builder, Kalia had allegedly duped several young women by offering them lucrative jobs. He established physical relation with most of them and also filmed the acts.

In 2010, the accused had circulated a similar video on social networking site which went viral following which a Hyderabad-based NGO filed a petition in the Supreme Court in this regard.

The apex court had then directed the CBI to take up the case after which Kalia, who was untraceable since 2010, was arrested from Phulnakhara on outskirts of the city on March 23 this year. The CBI is likely to make more arrests in the case soon, said sources.
