JAIPUR: A 15-year-old girl was gangraped by three men after she was abducted while walking to school at a village in Rajasthan's Alwar district on Thursday.

According to a complaint filed by the victim's brother, while the 15-year-old girl was walking to her school, a Bolero pulled up on the road and the two occupants of the vehicle dragged the minor into the vehicle. Later they tied her hands, blindfolded her and even picked up a third youth along the way. They then took the victim to an undisclosed location.

When they removed her blindfold, the minor found herself in a room where the three accused gang-raped her. They also took compromising photographs and videos of her and threatened the victim that if she revealed anything to anyone, they would kill her brother.

While the accused forced the girl into a car, other students from the school spread the news of the abduction throughout the village which prompted angry villagers to gather en masse.

After committing the crime, the accused attempted to drop the victim off and flee. But upon spotting the approaching crowd, they abandoned the vehicle and escaped on foot. The enraged mob then set their vehicle on fire. Upon receiving the information, the Raini police arrived at the scene. They took custody of the burnt vehicle and transported it to the Raini Police Station.

A case has been registered against the three culprits connected with this shameful incident. The prime accused, Rahul Saini, has been arrested. Following his arrest, the police recovered several obscene videos of other girls from his mobile phone.

The police are currently engaged in investigating the case, and a search for the remaining two accused individuals is underway. All three accused individuals hail from Baswa town in Dausa district. The police have registered a case under the POCSO Act and initiated an investigation; they have also arranged for the victim's medical examination and recorded her statement in court.

The case is currently being investigated by Rajgarh DSP Manisha Meena. While one of the prime accused has been arrested, a search is now underway for the remaining two absconding suspects.

Superintendent of Police Sudhir Chaudhary stated that the incident is being investigated with utmost seriousness, and the remaining accused individuals will also be arrested soon, for which a dedicated team is actively working.
