

CHENNAI: Chief Minister M Karunanidhi,who will be discharged from SRMC hospital on Sunday, will inaugurate the renovated Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) youth wing office 'Anbagam' on his way home.
The DMK chief will declare the office open from a van, DMK treasurer and youth wing secretary M K Stalin said in a statement on Saturday.
'Anbagam' was originally inaugurated by the DMK founder, 'Arignar' Anna in the year 1964. In 1987, the building was allocated for the DMK’s youth wing. Now, the entire office has been renovated to create more space. Karunanidhi was admitted to SRMC hospital on January 26 on complaints of severe back pain and underwent a spine surgery on February 11.
