TIRUNELVELI: As many as 125 poisonous snakes were caught from the bushes on the sprawling Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital (TMCH) premises here on Thursday.
The shrubs on the premises had become a haven for poisonous snakes Based on the complaints the public and the nursing students, Kanagaraj, Dean-in-Charge and R M O Mohan took measures.
Snake charmer Mariappan and his team from Pettai were able to capture snakes includingcobras, vipers and rat snakes. Later, the captured snakes were released at Melapattam hillock.
