NAGERCOIL: A woman, accompanied by her two children, on Monday sought the Collector’s help to bring back her deceased husband’s body from Saudi Arabia.
She submitted a petition to the Collector during a weekly grievance day meeting held here.
Nirmala Mary (33), a resident of Kattayanvilai near Vettoornimadam, later told journalists that two-and-a-half year’s ago, her husband Suresh went to Saudi Arabia to work as a labourer.
“Now, 36 days have passed since his death and we could not bring back my husband’s body. I also have doubts over his death. ‘
The administration should take steps to bring back his body and investigate his death.
