Tamil Nadu Government Chief Whip P Mohan was today sworn-inas Minister in the Jayalalithaa-led state cabinet.
Governor K Rosaiah administered him the oath of office andsecrecy at the Raj Bhavan here in the presence of the Chief Minister.
A first-time Minister, Mohan, elected from the Sankarapuramassembly constituency, was recently inducted in a minor reshuffle byJayalalithaa who also showed the door to former Minister C Ve Shanmugam fromher cabinet.
Mohan will handle the Rural Industries portfolio, whichincludes Cottage and Small Industries.
