The VIT Master’s Entrance Examination (VITMEE-2013) will be held on June 8 and 9, for admission to M Tech and MCA programmes in 17 cities across India. The MCA programme is being offered at the Vellore and Chennai campuses.
VIT Chancellor G Viswanathan said, scholarships and assistanceships for meritorious students are being offered by the university. A monthly stipend of `4,000 will be given to top six GATE scorers in each M Tech programme. Top VITMEE / GATE scorers will get a stipend of 3,600 Euros (about Rs 2.40 lakh) for a double degree programme in Communication Engineering from UAS, Darmstadt, Germany (Under DADD fellowship).
The university will arrange an on-campus recruitment in which corporates will participate. The applications for PG courses are available online at www.vit.ac.in/vitmee. The cost of the application is Rs 900. The VITMEE-2013 application forms will be available online only. The last date to apply is 18 May and the last date for receipt of applications is 22 May. The results will be declared on 14 June, 2013.
