THANJAVUR: A special publication "Mahamaham 2016" published by Sarasvati Mahal library was released by Dr. N Subbaiyan, District collector and Director of the Library on Wednesday at Thanjavur. The publication featuring 50 articles including one by the national poet Mahakavi Subramanya Bharathi on Mahamaham has been priced at Rs. 300 and will be available for sales at four exhibitions being organised at Kumbakonam for Mahamaham. The first copy of the book was received by A Poongothai, the Administrative Officer of the Library. The all colour book with 260 pages also have contribution from many scholars and contribution from wider public which was edited by a team from the Sarasvati Mahal library. Besides the book mementos featuring the logo of Mahamaham 2016 have been made by the District Industrial Centre and the Mahalir Thittam for sales during the festival.
