The investigators had collected CCTV footage from VKK Menon Road to Thudiyalur and questioned over 500 people. But they were unable to get a clear idea about the four found in the footage. The photographs have been released to get more details about them.

“They are neither suspects nor the accused,” said ASP G Stalin of the Special Intelligence Division. “As we did not get a clear idea about these four persons in the pictures, they can contact the CB-CID and clear themselves,” he added.

Sasikumar was hacked to death on the night of September 22, around 11:30. As the District police remained clueless for over a week about the murder, the case was transferred to the CB-CID, which has formed nine teams to investigate the case.

Those in the photographs can contact the SID, Additional Superintendent of Police on phone number 94981 04441 or can approach, in person, the Crime Branch CID office on PRS campus in the city.

Public who have any information about them can contact the phone number or send an email to sibcbcidcbe@gmail.com.
