KHAMMAM: The three-day national level Balotsav festival will start on Friday in Kothagudem town in the district. The festival will be inaugurated at Kothagudem club. Prominent persons to participate in the inaugural event are Kothagudem MLA Jalagam Venkata Rao, Singareni Collieries Company director T Vijaya Kumar, famous artist Y Laxman, Andesri, music director Gantadi Krishna.
As many as 15,000 children from 500 schools across the country will participate in the three-day event, said festival convener Dr Vasireddy Ramesh Babu. Free accomodation to all participants will be provided.
