

KARIMNAGAR: Family of a 26-year-old man, Pidugu Ramesh, have lodged a complaint after he went missing from Jaipur in Rajasthan last week. Ramesh hails from Jaggasagar village in Metpalli mandal of the district. The family fears that Ramesh might have been kidnapped. The last time they spoke to him was on Wednesday.
Ramesh completed his MBA and has been working as a supervisor at Mahindra Life Support Services, a construction company for the last three years. He was supposed to visit his home town for a family function on May 20 but had informed his sister that he had missed his train and would now come from New Delhi. After waiting till Sunday, Ramesh’s father Raji Reddy filed a missing complaint with the Metpalli police.
His sister Swarnalatha explained that recently Ramesh had pointed out swindling of funds to the tune of `30 lakh by steel suppliers in the company and feared that the suppliers might have kidnapped him.
Village Sarpanch E Kanthamma told, Ramesh hails from a poor family and he last visited his home in December 2014 to attend his sister marriage.
Meanwhile, the company manager in Jaipur informed that his belongings are still in his room. Later, the manager filed a complaint with the Jaipur police. Both Telangana and Rajasthan police are jointly searching for the missing person.
