Zeeshan, Noah supplied cocaine to Telugu actor

The duo was taken into custody for questioning in connection with the ongoing probe of drug trafficking in Hyderabad.

HYDERABAD: Zeeshan Ali alias Jack (23) of Mehdipatnam and Nigerian national Bernard Wilson alias Williams alias Noah Prank (26) of Sun City, who were arrested by the excise department’s STF (State Task Force) on July 8, were reportedly peddling cocaine to one of the actors summoned by the department. The actor was reportedly procuring the same through his driver. The duo was arrested after the teams received a tip-off on the toll-free number regarding sale of cocaine by two peddlers in Banjara Hills area. 

The duo was taken into custody for questioning in connection with the ongoing probe of drug trafficking in Hyderabad. Further, they were produced in the court after completion of judicial custody, excise director Akun Sabrahwal has said.On Saturday, the duo was grilled by the SIT to find out about their customers and also through whom they have been peddling drugs to Telugu film personalities.


During questioning, the duo reportedly told the sleuths that Williams used to procured cocaine from South Africa through courier by placing order on Darknet and gave the same to Zeeshan, who was already in contact with top film actors, who were doing drugs. Zeeshan used to supply cocaine to the driver of one of the top actor, who further distributed among his close friends. 


Sources said “Zeeshan was supplying drugs to a well-known actor. The actor’s driver used to collect cocaine at designated places. He used to sell cocaine for Rs 15,000 per one gm to the actor’s driver. He has confessed about this. Further investigation by the SIT is on.”  

Two more held with drugs
The excise sleuths arrested two more drug peddlers on Saturday and seized 20 grams of MDMA and seven grams of Magic Mushroom from them. Excise director Akun Sabharwal said two persons have been arrested and psychotropic substances have been recovered from them. The peddlers have been identified as Mohammed Usman alias Faisal and his associate Arnav Mandal.
