HYDERABAD: In the coming months, tourists will be able to enjoy hour-long cruises between Srisailam to Somasila on the river Krishna, announced Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation on Monday. Addressing a press conference here in the city, TSTDC managing director B Manohar, said that 100-km distance between Srisailam and Somasila will be covered in four hours.
“We have acquired two fibre catamaran boats under the Centre’s Swadesh Darshan scheme with a capacity of 18 members.”“We zeroed in on catamaran boats as they are more stable. If normal boats are motorcycles, then catamarans would be cars,” Manohar said
