Soon, Hyderabad may get UAE consulate

Chief Minister instructed Chief secretary SK Joshi to allocate land and provide the necessary infrastructure for the consulate.

HYDERABAD: The city may soon have a UAE consulate. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates,  who met Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao here on Thursday, mooted the idea of setting up UAE consulate in Hyderabad for which the latter has given his consent. 

The Chief Minister instructed Chief secretary SK Joshi to allocate land and provide the necessary infrastructure for the consulate. Sheikh Abdullah was all praise for the economic growth of Telangana.  He complimented the government for introducing innovative schemes for the welfare of people.
