HYDERABAD: T-Hub, the pioneering innovation ecosystem in Telangana, has been honoured with the prestigious National Technology Award for its outstanding contribution to techno-entrepreneurship development. The award, presented under the Technology Business Incubator category by the Department of Science & Technology, recognises T-Hub’s efforts in promoting innovative, technology-driven knowledge and supporting startup enterprises across various technological domains.

The Technology Development Board (TDB) recently invited applications for the National Technology Awards in five categories, namely Main, MSME, Startup, Translational Research, and Technology Business Incubator. The awards aimed to acknowledge the successful commercialisation of indigenous technology, commendable research, and the significant role played by technology business incubators.

After a rigorous two-tier evaluation process, involving eminent scientists and technologists, T-Hub emerged as one of the 11 winners. The award ceremony took place during National Technology Week 2023, a flagship event that aimed to raise awareness about government schemes and initiatives supporting technology startups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
