

HYDERABAD: In a bid to produce graduates who have technological know how along with administrative capabilities, Gitam university launched its new MBA programme, EMC-2 or the Executive Management Class at the T-Hub, Gachibowli on Saturday. The techno-management programme targets working professionals either looking to upgrade their skills or to acquire an MBA degree. It’s an 18 months course, with classes being conducted only on Sunday.
Talking about the programme dean and director of Gitam said that besides providing degrees the programme also allows students to continue with their existing jobs and even maintain work life balance. Dr Y Lakshman Kumar, dean of Gitam University said, “Classes will be conducted only on Sunday for three hours. Faculty from IIT-Hyderabad will teach the technology modules and the management aspect will be taken care by Gitam.”
