HYDERABAD: Paying power bills online will be now easier for consumers with the Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited introducing unique service number (USCNO). The USC number will be given on the power bill, below the service connection number. The consumers can also know their power usage details in real time through this number.
With this move, there is no need for consumers to enter district, ERO number and service number to know the power consumption details or pay bills. As consumers were facing a lot of problems in entering too many numbers and codes, there used to be long delays in paying the bills. “We have now simplified the system,” Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd chairman and managing director G Raghuma Reddy said on Wednesday. People can also lodge complaints on tssouthernpower.com website, Reddy added.
