Six years after making his Tollywood debut with Jai Bolo Telangana, actor Sandeep Singh has now turned author and has recently published his first novel, ‘A day’s life’. This book is an amalgamation of random thoughts that he put together, which he plans to adapt into a feature film sometime in the future.

“Writing was never my cup of tea. But this concept was so intense and connected to reality and people around us, that I thought I have make everybody read about this. Before this, I had never written anything but I’m happy that this text came out with perfection, exactly how I wanted it to be,” Sandeep shared.

The actor-turned-novelist admits that he has not targeted connousseurs of literature, but those who like ‘simple reads’.  “I prefer to read thin books rather than the bulky ones, and those were the audience that I targeted, when I was writing this book.

I am happy with the response that my book has received, and one of the best compliment that I received was from Pellichoopulu producer Raj Kandukuri, who said, ‘Some of the incidents in the story were very close to my life. Great work of writing and keep writing’,”said an elated Sandeep. Despite writing, Sandeep  admits that acting is his dream.

“Right now I’m focusing on my second novel. But my dream is to be the Akshay Kumar of Tollywood. Sooner or later I am going to re-launch myself into movies. I am waiting for the right moment and script and once I find them I will be back,” Sandeep added.
