Most of us smile when we shop and stop when we get the bill. But OSL Luxury, the licensees of Corneliani in India teamed up with Smile Foundation for charity shopping during the weekend to bring smiles to the faces of many underprivileged children. Corneliani, the luxury menswear brand from Italy, along with OSL Luxury have donated a significant percentage of their sales as part of the programme.
Smile Foundation is the same NGO that brought the smile back to Pinky’s face, a 25 year old; mother of two who was helped medically by the foundation when it decided to surgically correct Pinky’s cleft lip. She was present at the Wimbledon men’s finals this July to make the toss.
The event showcased the Autumn Winter 13 collection of Corneliani. Interesting detailing of leather and jackets and knits dark colours looked smart. Corneliani also introduced the Su-Misura concept of made to measure. Seen ‘shopping for a cause’ were IIM guru Arindam Choudhury and wife Rajita, designer Jatin Kocchar and wife Gunjan, and Salesh Grover of OSL Luxury.
