Pedalers of Wilderness

The bicycle club Pedalyatri, started by full-time professionals seven years ago, has over 2,000 members from kids under 12 to those above 50. It’s a 50-60 km ride on weekends and 25-30 km on weekdays around bucolic Gurgaon. Cycle through forgotten villages and unexpected wilderness as far as Damdama Lake. After all that exercise, there are little shops in remote villages which sell tea made in fresh milk, and laddoos and puris made in cow’s ghee. No guilt trip this.
