A few months ago Neel Sutra, a heritage textile-driven concept store, opened up at The Oberoi in Gurgaon. The fashion store is the brainchild of designer Deepika Govind. This week, it opened up at Khan Market the Neel Sutra Bridal Lounge, a place that provides everything related to wedding under one roof.
Besides fashion, the lounge offers wedding-related services from stalwarts. Renuka Pillai is there for bridal makeup, Rohit Bal Luxury Weddings for wedding décor and then there are gourmet services, trousseau packaging and of course jewellery. Anju Modi, Abraham & Thakore, Arjun Saluja, Anand Kabra, Deepika Govind, Sawan Gandhi and Samant Chauhan have all created exclusive pieces for the store.
The launch affair had a good turnout. Interesting cocktails like aam panna martini and sweet pan mojito were the evening’s choicest drinks. We spotted David Mathews, Arjun Saluja, Urvashi Kaur, Jeh Bajaj, Renuka Pillai, Cecile D’ascoli, Neera Nath, Rossano Feretti and Gaurav Jagtiani there.
