These days any talk about Pakistan is mercurially hot. But amid such an atmosphere, the Pakistan High Commission hosted a tea party to announce an Indo-Pak fashion venture, Shaan-E-Pakistan. No doubt Pakistani fashion designers have a lot of takers in India and vice-versa. Any Indo-Pak fashion exposition has benefitted designers from both the countries. The aesthetics and sensibilities of bridal fashion has a common ground.

The Pakistan High Commission had designer Huma Nassr and a host of Indian designers to announce the three-day fashion exhibition in September.

Seen at the high-tea hosted by cultural attache Manzoor Memon were Huma Nassr with Poonam Bhagat, Raakesh Agarvwal, Sadan Pande and VJ Andy. Models added glamour while showcasing a glimpse of what is in store.
