One of the first few luxury labels that made a foray into India and opened shop was Christian Dior. The huge store at DLF Emporio refurbished itself and upped the already-existing luxurious ambiance. This definitely called for a celebration, and Kalyani Saha, the head of Dior in India, hosted a champagne soiree to show off the luxurious Dior store with the new luxe lounge to Delhi's fashionistas.
Added attraction was the fall/winter 2015 collection of Christian Dior that was on the shelves. Fruity colours dominated the racks and stylish bags and heels lured the ladies. The soiree was definitely a “ladies’ affair”, but we spotted some dapper men too.
The ladies who splurge on luxury labels were all seen at the do. We spotted Savitri Singh of DLF, Gayatri and Priya Narang, IPL’s gorgeous hostess Archana Vijay, former supermodel Priya Kapur, Ameeta Seth, Cheena and Muskan Vig, Ritu and Ajatshatru’s daughter Adishree Singh, Priya and Shirin Paul, Charu Sachdev, Prerna Subba who is (in)famous for extravagant shopping, and men like Raghavendra Rathore, Rohit Gandhi and Chetan Seth.
