We are not talking about any Bollywood diva creating factions in B-Town. We are talking about ‘Mrs Funnybones’ aka Twinkle Khanna. Her debut book, Mrs Funnybones: She’s Just Like You and a Lot Like Me, was launched with much pomp and show, where it wasn’t the Bollywood biggies that stole the show but Twinkle’s witty humour.
Her knack for humour was discovered when she started a column for a daily and no sooner it became a must-read. The book launch was styled as a talk-show anchored by Karan Johar. Every question that Karan asked, Twinkle had a witty reply for it. She was asked what is so special about her hubby Akshay Kumar and she replied, “He is few inches bigger (after a pause) in height.” Aamir Khan is her biggest critic and fan, and shared a few anecdotes of him and Twinkle.
At Twinkle’s big day, mommy Dimple and sis Rinkie were there and so was Akshay. Susanne Khan, Sonali Bendre and other friends too celebrated Twinkle’s big moment.
