A recent survey showed that the quality of the camera in a smartphone is the number one factor that influences customers. Understanding this need, Chinese telecom brand, Huawei, launched its smartphone Huawei P9, which is co-engineered with the iconic camera brand, Leica.
Huawei launched the phone with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and announced its partnership with India Fashion Week. Undoubtedly fashionistas are crazy clicking pictures at fashion shows; be it selfies or an ensemble they love on the ramp. Sushmita Sen and Boman Irani, the brand ambassadors of Huawei P9, were present at the launch do.
Sunil Sethi of FDCI said he is pleased to tie up with Huawei and “at fashion week, photography is vitally important to capture the best images”. Peter Zhai, President of Huawei India, reciprocated the sentiments by saying, “Partnering with FDCI for the Amazon India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2017 will enable people in India to view what the Huawei P9 is capable of delivering, in terms of image quality, comparable with the best cameras.”
Also seen at the do were fashion designers Rina Dhaka, Rohit Gandhi, Gautam Rakha and Nida Mahmood.
