HYDERABAD: YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy distributed a booklet titled ‘Emperor of Corruption’ on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s corruption to national leaders of various political parties, including Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, in New Delhi recently.

The booklet gives details of alleged corrupt deals of Naidu during his two-year rule of present Andhra Pradesh. According to the booklet, Naidu indulged in 31 scams amounting to Rs 1.34 lakh crore in the last two years.

Naidu, as opposition leader, had indulged in a similar act and brought out a book titled ‘YSR: The Raja of Corruption’ and distributed its copies in Delhi during the YSR regime.

Giving details of the content of the book, Jagan said that out of the Rs 1.34 lakh crore scam, over Rs 1 lakh crore scam took place in the name of new capital city Amaravati. “Even before announcing the place of the capital city, Naidu allowed his people to purchase large chunks of land. This helped them secure prime lands in the capital region. This is nothing but insider trading and breach of secrecy of oath,” Jagan alleged.

When asked about the credibility of the documents, Jagan said that the TDP government can verify it and if it was found to be wrong, take action against him.
